Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Ground (rocks, sand, dirt, paths, walks, trails)

Bryan and I like a good adventure. As you may (or may not) have gathered, a lot of these revolve around hiking. Hiking generally involves trails (except for the fun “trail-less” bushwhacks which sometimes have herd paths.) Some trails are a nice smooth easy surface but when we are in the Adirondacks they contain many, many ankle turners. You get very acquainted (hopefully not too much) with the ground. Other adventures we get to take in the scenery around us and gape at it’s beauty.

  1. Great pictures! I laughed at the second one. More than a few times on the Bruce Trail, I’ve looked at the blaze and thought “Really?! this is where the trail wants me to go?!!!”

  2. Terrific shots, Megz ! In that first one, I can’t get over what someone has done in assembling rocks to look exactly like a seated person admiring the view ! Great stuff/
